TeamIndus an Indian Startup is all set to launch
India's first private spacecraft to the moon in 2017. It's won Google Lunar X
prize & earned a place on ISRO rocket scheduled for a launch on 28 Dec
2017. The spacecraft's mission includes travelling 500 metres on the moon surface
& sending HD videos, images & data back to Earth.
