Former TN Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa was
buried with full state honours next to her mentor MG Ramachandran's memorial in
Chennai's Marina Beach on Tuesday. Tens of thousands of mourners thronged the
road to Marina, paying homage to the flower-bedecked body of AMMA draped in her
favourite green saree. She was buried in a sandalwood coffin next to her mentor.
