No More Exchange of Old Rs 500, Rs 1000 from the MidNight 24/11/2016
The Govternment on Thursday decided that there will be
no over the counter exchange of ₹500, ₹1000 notes from 24 Nov midnight. This is contrary to their
time limit Govt had announced earlier (Dec 31). Starting Friday, only banks and
post offices will accept your old notes. Payment for public utilities is
extended till Dec 15.
