India and Japan are to set a civil nuclear
cooperation deal during PM Modi's visit to Japan this week. It is slated to
boost bilateral economic and security ties. Also, US-based companies will be
able to set up atomic power plants in India. The deal was struck during
Japanese PM Shiozo Abe's visit to India in Dec, 2015. However, a deal wasn't
signed then as some issue had to be worked out.
