India's newest state Andhra Pradesh & Telangana
have together topped the list of ease of doing business, as per rankings by
Dept of Industrial Policy and Promotion. Parameters such as starting a
business, dealing with construction permits, registering property, paying
taxes, resolving insolvency among others were considered. Gujarat, Chhattisgarh
and MP followed, while J&K & Meghalaya are at last.
