All banks will remain closed for public work on
November 9. The statement was made by PM Modi during his speech. He also said
that new notes of Rs 2000 and Rs 500 will be circulated soon. The RBI will
limit notes with higher value. There will be no change in any other form of
currency exchange like cheque, DD and payment via credit or debit cards.
