RBI is likely to lift weekly withdrawal limit from savings account soon, confirmed economic affairs secretary Shaktikanta Das. As of now, an individual can only withdraw Rs 24,000 from the account per week. On Jan 31st, the RBI had lifted the restrictions from current, cash credit and overdraft accounts. "I think the process of remonetisation is near-complete," he said.
