Vodafone has confirmed that it is in talks with Aditya Birla(Idea) Group
on all-share merger of Vodafone India and Idea Cellular. The merger could be
the next major change in Indian telecom industry, the first being Reliance
Jio's thumping entry. The merger could come as a major blow to Airtel, which is
yet to cope with Jio's blow.
