DRDO is scheduled to test Agni 5
intercontinental surface-to-surface missile from the Wheeler Island off Odisha
coast today. The latest of Agni series has the longest range of 5,000 km and
features advanced tech for navigation and guidance, warhead and engine. After
few more trials, Agni 5 will be incorporated into the services.
