India and Switzerland have signed an agreement
for automatic exchange of information on black money holders. The move is seen
as a major step in addressing menace of black money stashed abroad. With the
implementation of Automatic Exchange of Information (AEOI), financial info of
accounts held by Indians in Switzerland banks for 2018 and subsequent years
will be accessible on an automatic basis.
