India's top
cricketing body, the BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India) on Tuesday
moved the Supreme Court over blocked funds. BCCI sought the release of it's
funds to member states, stating that non-disbursal would result in the
cancellation of the India-England Test scheduled to begin at Rajkot, Gujarat on
Wednesday. Earlier, the SC on October 21, barred the State cricket bodies from using
BCCI funds.
