Telangana state on Tuesday will see the birth of
21 new districts on the auspicious occasion of Dussehra. With this, the total
number of districts in India's youngest state is now 31. It had 10 districts
when it came into existence on June 2, 2014. The ruling Telangana Rashtra
Samithi (TRS) government says reorganisation of the districts will help take
the administration to people.
