ISRO GSAT-18 Satellite Launched Successfully from French Guiana

GSAT-18, India's latest communication satellite has been launched by heavy duty rocket of Arianespace from the spaceport of Kourou in French Guiana on Thursday. The launch that was earlier scheduled on Wednesday, had to be delayed by 24 hours due to heavy cross winds at Kourou. GSAT-18, built by ISRO, aims to strengthen the telecommunications services for the country.
