A tribal man, Dana Majhi, walked 12 kilometres carrying the body
of his dead wife on his shoulders from a hospital to his village in Odisha on
Wednesday. Majhi's wife had reportedly died from tuberculosis in the hospital.
He was allegedly not provided an ambulance to carry the body as he had no money
to hire the vehicle.
