Wrestler Sakshi Malik won
India’s first Medal at the Rio Olympics. She defeated Kyrgyzstan’s Aisuluu
Tynybekova in women’s freestyle 58 kg category to won a bronze medal. Even
though her opponent was in lead earlier in the bout, Sakshi came back strong in
the latter part, with a 8-5. Sakshi is the first Indian women to get the Olympic
medal in wrestling.
